Is DALFAST CV free to use?
Yes — you can build, preview and download a watermarked PDF using the Free plan. Word export, watermark-free documents, premium templates and AI features require the applicable paid plan.
Do I need to create an account?
Not to build or preview. A free-plan PDF can be downloaded with the displayed watermark. You need an account to use paid downloads, optional AI or Save to Library because those features are tied to your plan.
What does “ATS-friendly” mean?
Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) help employers organise and search applications. Our ATS-friendly templates use clear headings, readable fonts and straightforward structures designed to support parsing. No template can guarantee compatibility with every employer's system or a hiring outcome.
Is my data private?
Standard editing, preview and export happen in your browser. If you deliberately use optional AI or Save to Library, the text fields needed for that feature are sent securely to our server; AI requests also use our contracted AI provider. Review the notice before using those features. Payments are handled by Stripe's secure hosted checkout.
Can I download in Word format as well as PDF?
Yes — every builder exports both a polished PDF and an editable Word (.docx) document, so you can send whichever format the employer asks for.
Can I use it in my language and currency?
Yes — DALFAST CV supports 30+ languages and multiple currencies. Use the language and currency switcher in the menu.

Do you offer refunds?
You can cancel future subscription renewals anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period. Eligibility for a refund or withdrawal depends on the purchase and applicable law; statutory consumer rights are not affected. See our Refund Policy.

How does the ATS readiness score work, and what does it not tell me?
It is a checklist of ten items, run entirely in your browser against the résumé you have entered. The percentage is simply how many pass: items passed ÷ items checked × 100. It checks for a professional summary, work experience, at least six skills, education, achievement bullet points, complete contact details, a LinkedIn URL, strong action verbs, quantified results, and an ATS-safe template; it also warns you if you include a photograph. It is not a score from a real applicant tracking system. Your résumé is never submitted to Workday, Greenhouse, Taleo or any other ATS, and no builder can produce a true ATS score — every system parses differently and none publishes its ranking algorithm. It does not predict whether you will be shortlisted or hired, and 100% means every item on this list passed, nothing more.
