Who we are

DALFAST CV is operated by DALFAST, s.r.o. (“we”, “us”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Your document files: opening, editing, previewing and exporting a resume, cover letter or motivation letter happens in your browser. The file itself is not uploaded merely because you open it or use the standard builder.
• Optional AI requests: if you deliberately choose an AI-labelled feature, the text fields required for that request — which may include your name, target role, location, professional summary, work history, education and skills — are sent to our server and our contracted AI provider to generate the requested output. We do not intentionally send your email address, phone number, street address, date of birth, photograph or account credentials in the AI prompt. Review the notice before using AI and remove anything you do not want processed.
• Saved documents: if you choose to save a document to your signed-in library, its structured text fields are stored with your account so you can reopen and edit it. Saving is optional and separate from local preview and export.
• Account data: if you create an account we store your email address, your name, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), and your plan status. This is used only to sign you in and unlock the plan you purchased. If you choose Continue with Google, Google supplies a verified email, name and stable account identifier; we never receive your Google password and do not retain Google access or identity tokens after sign-in.
• Security records: we retain limited sign-in and security-event information, including a one-way browser identifier, IP address, event type and timestamp, to prevent abuse and investigate account risks.
• Contact details: if you email or message us, we receive the information you provide so we can respond.
• Payment data: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details; Stripe returns only a customer/subscription reference so we can manage your plan.
• Usage & cookies: we may use minimal cookies/analytics to keep the site working and understand usage. See our Cookie Policy.

How we use it

To provide and secure our services, deliver features you request, keep optional saved documents available to you, respond to support requests, process purchases, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

Your rights (GDPR)

As an EU company we follow the GDPR. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@dalfastcv.com.

Data retention & sharing

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or legal obligation. Saved documents remain until you delete them or your account is deleted, subject to limited backup and legal-retention requirements. AI request data is shared only with the contracted processor needed to provide that feature. We do not sell your data. Other processors include Stripe for payments and service providers needed for hosting, security and support, under appropriate safeguards.
